I was surprised to get a offered my Asthma check in less than a week of receiving the text to book. Then suprised again to be asked did I want a Face to Face or phone appointment, when I said I had a phone one last year, I was offered a Face to Face.

Many thanks for the heads up. I didn't realise they were taking bookings. I gave up going to the surgery as it was so difficult getting an appointment. I went to Boots last year for the first time, it was so convenient and are open at weekends, which meant I didn't have to take time off work. I now have an appointment for Sep 18. Thank you.
Thank you @Sharron1

When I heard about it, they were talking about a jab in each arm - which I guess would be convenient in terms of reducing the faff of having to get to multiple appointments, but my immediate thought was ‘which side would you sleep on?’ 😱

Will be interesting to see if some sort of combo jab is offered, and whether that’s an option or the only version.

Just had my Asthma Check, asked nurse about flu jab this year not had their Flu meeting yet where decisions are made.So don't know the details yet.
