Flu Jab

I was told today that as a diabetic I'm entitled to a free flu jab, is this true?

I'm seeing my DSN tomorrow, so if it is I can ask about getting one.

Yeah you are, some of us at the minute are in the process of having them done or have had them like me.You may have the pnuemonia jab mentioned to you as well but i think you have that every 10 years.x

you should get a call up every year when they start doing the jabs at your surgery, if not contact them and they should book you asap.

do most people (with diabetes) have it? just been offered it by GP for K - but dont know if should or not?
Someone one told me as her carer I'm entitled too?

Ive just had mine done this evening with my pharmacist- no appointment needed and no irritating receptionist to get past! Oh, and free!

Worth checking your dispensary, see what they offer. For the last three years Ive had it done this way and found it to be an excellent service!
