Eat more fish.
This has long been advised by health experts and doctors who understand that eating fish—especially ocean fish, and by association many other kinds of seafood—has many health benefits. On the surface this makes sense because fish, in general, is the leanest meat. Some fish are fatty, yes, but in terms of nutrition, the protein-to-fat ratio is usually lower in fish.
But a new study implies that adding a little fish to your diet can significantly decrease your risk for hearing loss later in life. It is suggested the Omega-3 fatty acid component of ocean fish is the reason—and it has many other benefits too.
