have to see the nurse first the then doctor and i dont think there is much chance of any real help from them especialy the doc as i have just found out he hasent referred me to have a 24 hour heart monitor fitted after spending 6 hrs in a&e and the doc there requested that i be reffered, this was three weeks ago, still at least i get the chance to ask him why.

So when did the doc actually get the letter off A&E to say this? Has he actually received it?

I've been fooled by this meself, hospital say they are gonna do whatever, so I've waited and waited and nothing happens and I've got wound up - only to find the hospital haven't done what they said they'd do at all.

i handed the letter to the doc my self,i have had the review now nurse couldent find a pulse in my right foot and the doc has given me lingliptin to take as well as insulin, he has also assured me that he has sent the refferal.

Gosh - I never knew the DPP-4 inhibitors worked on T1 diabetics.

Did anyone else?

Apologies Caroleann, I looked and for whatever reason read Type 1.

They do work for T2s though! LOL
