Goodness, what is this daily allowance of carbs of which you speak? The only carb guidelines I have been given is that they should make up roughly 40% of you calorie intake (at 4 cals per gram this would be about 200g carbs a day). Slow Runner, as a type 1, you don't 'need' to go as low as type 2s may need to when low carbing.Oh gosh, really? That's awful & I feel quite guilty! 😳 I haven't really been low carbing, just counting them & taking the appropriate bolus. Still quite new to all this!
