I was very lucky with my first appointment as the diabetes clinic team were amazing.

I saw the eye nurse who gave me the drops, me eyes were slightly blurry for a few hours however I could see fine. Photos of my eyes should everything looked ok, no issues.

The foot inspection I was given a low risk rating and she said I has the pulse of a 30 year old which was very complimentary. She took my pulse from my foot, is this normal? I just need to keep my feet moisturised to make them less dry and reduce any cracks and potential infections.

Then I saw a further nurse who took my blood pressure 130/80 I think and he said that was fine. He took couple of bloods and urine.

Felt quite reassured that I am being checked and monitored.

All sounds good and very encouraging for you.

Foot pulse - or rather, ankle - needs to be as strong as the pulse elsewhere, within the usual normal range. If it is not, it indicates there's a problem with the blood supply to your tootsie.

Well done @Gucci69 glad it went okay. My DN saw me for my feet as well as everything else - other than eye screening - glad my post helped ease your nerves for that one.
