A MOTHER has launched a specialist playgroup for diabetic children in Thurrock after her son was diagnosed with the illness.
Sarah-Jayne Davis launched the Little Stars stay and play group in November after discovering the borough had no specialist groups for children with diabetes.
After her youngest son Buster was diagnosed with type one diabetes last June, the mum-of-five searched for support and playgroups.
Sarah-Jayne, 38, started taking her three-year-old son to Basildon-based charity Chilbetes, but found there was no children his age.
