Bloods up like a firework

Rocketing so high

When eating I'm not sleeping

No matter how I try



I had a carbohydrate nibble

Before I went to bed

I'm up like a roman candle

Pillow disconnected from my head



It's all about your timing

When and what you have to eat

If your sleep is that disrupted

Then it isn't such a treat



Diabetes like a wheel

Reacts to all you do

Turn it to where you want it

And take more care of you
