I noticed something a few days ago - the fact that I now have nice pink soft fingertips instead of hardened with black bits due to years of fingerprick tests - I've been using libre since October 2022 and this was a benefit I didn't consider

Mine were still pink BUT some time ago I'd had to gradually needed to increase the depth of my lancet device (Accu-Chek Fastclix) and was on 1.5 but since late last year - and I don't remember actually reducing it so dunno how long it's been there - it's only on 0.5 now! and I still need to test my blood very regularly cos it's very rare indeed for Libre to be accurate enough to completely trust. It has been better since Libre 2 - but just not enough to put my faith in 100% for dosing.
