I have a Accu-Chek Aviva Nano meter and Accu-Chek finger pricker - I need to buy some new lancets - do I need to buy Accu-Chek multi-clix? or is there one specificly called Accu-Chek fastclix. I've looked on the Accu-Chek website but can't make head or tail or it.

Amanda 🙂

Hi John, thank you for the quick reply unfortunately I buy strips and am happy to buy the lancets but don't know which ones; did go into Boots and looked at the Multiclix but if I open the pack and they are the wrong one's I can't take them back so have wasted ?18..I wasn't hinting just wanted to ensure I buy the right ones.. xx🙂

I didn't even for one minute assume that you were hinting, just thought that if you had to pay then I could help, I have plenty because I have them on prescription 🙂

Thank's John, will email my address; if I could have a couple I'll then go and buy some - it is very very very kind of you. Thank you xx🙂

I use the multiclix with my finger pricker which came with the nano, seen the multiclix lancets on sale in Lloyds pharmacy.

In answer to your question, which I don't think anyone has actually answered yet, yes there are Accu-chek Fastclix lancets and yes they are different to multiclix. I use fastclix lancets with my mobile meter/finger pricker combo 🙂
If you want to buy fastclix lancets you can get them from boots for ?4.59 for 24 or any other good pharmacy.

Are the fastclix the same as the softclix lancets?

No they are a different design. If they were the same, I'd assume they would have the same name. A different name generally means a different design.

Funny🙄 the reason I asked is because if I type in Accu-Chek Fastclix on the Boots website you get either Multiclix or Softclix? I think it is the multi-clix, small barrells...🙂

Not a problem🙂
