Wow, you guys keep your pricker at the same level all the time?
Mine varies a lot. If I have been exercising and my hands are hot, my blood is just below the surface and my pricker is on a very low setting. If my hands are cold, even after holding a hot cuppa, I need to prick much deeper to find any red stuff.
I thought this was “normal” but I guess it is related to my Raynauds which can cause my fingers to go white when the blood is hiding ... even the deepest prick can’t bring my blood to the surface then.
I have learnt something about myself, today.
