Hi . When you have to self fund your glucose meter it’s the ongoing cost of the testing strips you h@ve to watch out for. Many meters or cheap to buy some companies will even give you one free if you ask but the cost of their meters testing strips are often £15 to £25 .
All meters sold in the U.K. have to comply to the same standards.

Many people who self fund use this meter as it’s test strips are around £8 for a pot of 50

Their is also the Tee 2 glucose meter. I don’t know how much it’s test strip are, it should be available on the same site as the Codefree.

You will need to buy more pots of test strips and some lancets as they only provide 10 in starter kits
