I've just had my letter through saying that I've been reffered to the Podiatrist it's only taken 5 weeks whilst my toe has been agony the scab still won't heal.

The appointment has been made for 30th nov but it doesn't say anything about what they will be doing at the appointment :(

Goodness! At least it has come through - what's the point of us checking our feet if they are going to take so long to treat anything we find? I imagine that they'll just be checking to see what kind of treatment it may need and possibly prescribe some creams or drugs if appropriate, or it may mean that you then have to go back for another appointment once they have checked it out.

Hope they can deal with it straightaway though, it's bad enough having to wait so long as it is and the appointment is still nearly two weeks away :(

Exactly Northe, I though diabetics were a priority if there is a problem?

5 weeks is an awfully long time - hopefully they will be able to treat you and get things healed.🙂Bev
