Over the past week I seem to have stopped having to get up for a wee every hour of the night.it has happened rarely since I was diagnosed with type two in January.i have checked my bg level when it happens and it’s not consistent with what I’m eating so it wasn’t that.before I was diagnosed I couldn’t eat oats but cutting out lots of stuff my body now seems to tolerate oats so I have that most days as it seems to stops snacking.anyway last week we had dinner late and fancied a pudding and my usual choice in natural Greek yogurt and low and behold I slept all night so I tried it for a week without saying to anyone and the only time it changed was when I had some fresh rhubarb with it.i used to have milk sometimes Before bed but that seemed to help then not So it wasn’t that but just couldn’t put my finger on why.its now been about two weeks and it nice not getting up all night.ive been using Greek yogurt since I was diagnosed but never at night but hopefully this has sorted my gut bacteria and I can sort of stop worrying about going to bed and being disturbed all night.i hope this long post can help someone else to get a good nights sleep
