No Hypos yet, but I did mislay the Dawn Phenomenon this morning, (DF was obviously over your side of the Cotswolds), so was able to enjoy a choccy biccy with my coffee.

I wish I'd had fudge! Woke t0 3.6 so a bag of drumstick squashies got me to 4.1 so I had a gluco tab which kept me at 4.1 🙄 reduced bolus and pre bolus time and the spike makes everyone aware lol

Hope there are no more for you! (or me 🙄)
xx

No low BGs yet. But currently 13.4 🙄
But then I do have a stinking cold :(

Post dinner dogwalk hypo. Moomin sweets from Finland to the rescue!
😱 I love the Moomins! :D wishing you a speedy recovery and a stable evening 🙂 xx

we are doing a 1000 piece Moomin
jigsaw this year 🙂

A 3.1 for me at 5am which has left me exhausted. But apart from that I’ve had a really lovely day with Mark xx

A 2.8 this morning whilst preparing the veg, skittles to the rescue!

I seem to be almost permanently hypo at the moment - according to my Libre I've had 20 hypos in the last 7 days, but quite a few of those lasted ages, so my daytime graph is half red, half black (managing to keep my nighttime graph black by eating lots of biscuits and cheese at bedtime).

I have also misplaced my dawn phenomenon, @Robin - no idea what's happened to it. And I've misplaced my usual pattern of spiking after eating carbs - at the moment I seem to hypo after eating carbs o_O without the tiniest of spikes in between. Had a chocolate brownie for lunch with 1.5 units insulin, and was hypo within about half an hour, so should probably have had it without the insulin. Baked apple this evening (being allergic to Christmas pudding), which would normally require about 4 units insulin and still cause a bit of a spike, played safe with 2.5 units and my blood sugar's been hovering around 3.8 ever since.

Insulin doses all gradually going down ...

Not bad depending on which bit of tech I look at 4 so far, 2.6 being the lowest on the old blood meter, it's all fine plenty of stuff around to move things back into normal range.

I also seem to have lost my Dawn Phenomenon which to be honest is fine.

Amazingly I had No highs or lows yesterday .

A Boxing Day hypo 3.0. “Do have a drink”- ooh yes please (no carbs for hours) and it’s a 3.0 with my liver otherwise engaged dealing with a large helping of Prosecco. 😱

My diabetes really likes boring normal time 🙂

Hope you’re having a stable bg day. 🙂

I'm going to put a hypo on my wish list for next Christmas because I have been in permanent double figures between 12 and 16 for nearly 3 days despite increasing both basal and bolus insulins and being extremely reserved with my food..... no choccies, no bread with my soup or roasties or Yorkies. I did have a tiny portion of Xmas pud yesterday but no dessert on the Big Day and I bolussed plenty to cover it yesterday. Not sure what is going on but I'm now starting to relish the prospect of a hypo.
Changed to a new Levemir pen Christmas eve and went back to Novorapid when my Fiasp ran out on Christmas day, so starting to wonder if one or the other new insulin pens is compromised in some way. Both are well in date and have been refrigerated prior to use
I don't feel great but then being permanently hyper I wouldn't really expect to. No sign of coming down with anything though.

A couple of weeks ago I really thought I had it cracked with an increase in daytime Levemir and I even had a whole day of being in range but readings have slowly crept up again.
I'm starting to despair!

Snap! Though I have had a nasty cold, which seems to have been most of the cause. Never usually hits me like this though and I’ve swapped at least one pump site thinking it must have gone off, only for the new one to be just the same!

Nice to know I am not alone but feeling pretty hard done by when I have been so good, food and drink wise, over the festive season and still getting persistent high readings.... makes me want to go and pig out, but if I am this high being good, I absolutely dare not be naughty. I am becoming progressively more brave with my insulin doses and no doubt eventually I will go too far with it and that hypo will happen. Will just be really happy to break my run of double figures though.
At least I know it is not my injection sites because I alternate and rotate between sites every day and apart from the odd bruise which I obviously avoid, they are all fine. Grrh!

Starting to feel like the DF lives with me and just visits other people occasionally to give me a break.
