Diabetes has to live with you not you with it 🙂
Take small steps, have a bad day forget it, tomorrow is another day.
The more you can't be a*sed the deeper the rut you will get into.
Tomorrow is a new day, so start again.

I feel like that some times, tonight especially. I joined my work mates for a drink, 2 pints later I felt very poorly & still do even tho my bloods are 8.

Diabetes is tough & we all get that way but don't let it rule you *hug*

I really wanna get back on track but , it's just seems seem so hard and runs my life atm

Look at it another way Oliver,
it may run your life in your eyes but it's better than ruining your life or losing it just because you can't or wont spend 10 mins a day carb counting and adjusting insulin. 🙂

Try not to dwell on it too much Oliver. It's a right royal pain in the backside (sometimes literally!) but how you are feeling now will come and go. Do the basics and then, if you find yourself pondering things, distract yourself with something else. If you allow it to fill your day by thinking about it then it will be running your life - live your life instead! How about setting a goal that you can work towards, and that will show diabetes that you are in control? Most people are capable of running a 10k with a bit of training and dedication, so that might be one suggestion. If it appeals, you could run for charity and help others, which can be a very rewarding feeling. Plus the exercise itself will take you away from the negative thoughts and help lify your spirits - an help your blood sugar control too! 🙂

Hi Oli. do your best to keep at it. I was at a Duk meeting a couple of weeks ago & was good. We will have to do North east meet after easter. 🙂
