I was at church this morning and felt fine, I never eat before going to church. I have some liittle jobs to do after mass which doesn't involve a lot of effort then I go to the tea room to meet up with hubby and have a coffee. The service was a longer than normal service and we had to stand for a long time during it, but I felt okay. Even when I came out of the tea room I felt fine. I got home and as I was going into the living room I noticed I felt a bit odd. I sat down and hubby made me breakfast/brunch of a roll and sausage and a coffee. I am still feeling a bit odd so have just done a BG and its reading is 9.9. I'm still feeling odd but don't know why?

There is a tendency when you have diabetes to think that anything out of the ordinary might be related to your blood sugar levels. Often this is true, but sometimes doesn't appear so. I often have to remind myself at times like this that I occasionally felt 'odd' long before I was diagnosed or could check my blood sugar levels, and it sometimes happens now when I can. So, it's more than possible that you would have felt this way even without diabetes. What can be annoying is if you try and report something to your GP and they just blame your diabetes without investigating other possibilities.

I know that probably doesn't help much! Hope you feel full of beans very soon! 🙂

Thanks Northerner. I was just wondering why I am feeling a bit odd. I have been fine all morning up till I got home. I have that feeling of having the shakes again, which I get on and off if I haven't eaten but I have eaten now and still feeling odd. Ah well, it'll be something and nothing. Hope it goes away soon, I have so much to do today without complicating things by feeling odd!!! :D

I hope you feel better soon. I spent several days feeling not quite right and then I started a cold, so it is possible you have something working on you.
