i was out in the garden this afternoon and all of a sudden my legs went to jelly and i got the shakes it was about 2 hrs after dinner checked my levels and it was 10.2 . do you think it could be diabetes related.

Hi, sorry to hear that - are you ok now? Are you taking any meds or insulin for your diabetes? People can get hypo symptoms even when not officially hypo if their blood glucose level drops very quickly from a high level - had yours been running high for a while? I'd be inclined to go to the docs myself though, just to be sure there isn't some other cause.

hi
im on metformin 3 times a day not sure what my levels are as i dont really check as i have to buy my own strips and it keeps costing to much lol.
since my diagnoss i hate going to the drs lol i suppose i better make a appointment

I get that feeling every occasionally. But for me it has several causes ...

1) I can go quite low BG wise every now and then.
2) Dehydration ... I simply don't drink enough!
3) I used to feel bad with the false hypos, but that isn't a problem any more because my levels are usually pretty stable.

If it keeps happening to you and your levels are running pretty high then a visit to the GP would definitely be a good idea.

edit: Actually what did you have for dinner?

Might have been your blood pressure dropping low - what were you doing when it happened?
