Hello, I'm new here; 31 years with Type 1. Tresiba and Novorapid. Feeling at a low ebb.

Hi and welcome.

I can totally understand. I also got a diagnosis 3 weeks ago and my head has been all over the place. I think everything is really overwhelming in these early stages. I am taking it a day at a time at the moment, and every one on here has been really welcoming and supportive. Do you have anyone you can talk to? I think just being open and not bottling things up is a start.

Hi, its really little to do with the type 1, I've had that on my back for 31 years, as I said. But thank you.

Sorry, I totally read that as being your age and not how long you had T1.

If you are feeling low then there is help out there. Do you have anyone you can talk to about how you're feeling? It might also be worthwhile speaking to your gp?
