It certainly could be high glucose, have you an explanation for that ? Equally if you are feeling unwell that can cause higher blood glucose.
Is your insulin OK, has it become compromised so not working as it should.
Do you have a means of testing for ketones?

Hi thank you replying.my insulin is ok yes all clean and new my ketones are normal just I feel extremely lethargic struggling to stay awake and have no energy even though eaten

try 111 for advice keep testing for keytones Keep us posted

So not too awful, thankfully. I’d feel rough at 15 though so maybe it’s that. Keep hydrated and keep a close eye on things. It’s easier to get blood sugar back on track if you spot it early.

It could just be a virus. There are a few going round. If you’re up to it today, stock up with some easy meals and basic meds just in case you’re about to go down with something. Also, you might want to change your insulin just in case that’s degraded and isn’t working quite as well as normal.

Take it easy and I hope you feel better soon x

Yesterday I woke up.11 did an injection of 4 had cereal it remained high untill 5ish been exhausted x

What blood sugar do you normally wake at? What basal do you use? Change your basal cartridge just in case that’s degraded. Do you have the Libre? If so, you might want to reduce your High alarm so that if you go high overnight, it will wake you and you can consider doing a small correction.

Thank you so much supposed to be going out tonight but will take it easy and relax xx

Keep an eye on them even if they’re new. There have been cases a while ago about insulin not being in full working order, having suffered temperature issues during transportation across Europe. I’m not saying that’s the case for you, but it’s worth keeping in mind.

Sorry to hear you are struggling with higher levels and it is making you feel sluggish.
Am I right in thinking that you unfortunately lost your job recently? Just wondering if the change in routine and not running around after little ones at work has affected your basal insulin needs and perhaps that now needs increasing a bit.

So pleased to hear that you kept your job. Must have been a scary time waiting to hear.

I did injection of 16 night one woke up it's 19.1 this morning x

How long have you had Type 1? What basal are you taking? What was your blood sugar before bed last night? What’s your Libre graph showing - ie were you high all night or did you suddenly go up at X o’clock?

Oh no @corriefan ! Is 16 more than you’d usually have at night time?

Sorry to hear your levels have been higher than usual. Higher levels certainly make me feel sluggish (and grumpy!)

Do you correct the high levels with extra short-acting insulin?
