I got out of bed this morning and almost ended up hitting the deck, I just couldn't bare any weight on my left hip...

Every time I try to walk and bare weight on my left side, I get a shooting pain right through my hip and now it's even starting to hurt while I'm sitting...

Goodness knows what I've done, as it was aright last night when I went to bed, I know that since damaging the ligaments 26 years ago, I get the old twinge which might pull me up for a couple of steps, but this is normally associated with cold damp whether not when it's warmer!

Ouch! I'm very sorry to hear this Ellie :( Has it eased at all through the day? I hope that it's just one of those things and that it rights itself by tomorrow.

Have you any gel such as Deep Heat? That might help in the short term, but if it's still like that in the morning I reckon you should call the surgery.

It's got worse, it's hurting while I'm sitting and if I go to walk or stand the pain gets a lot more...

I know that I tossed and turned last night a bit, has I got woken several times by my pump digging into my back😱 So can only assume that I somehow managed to yank or twist awkwardly, as that hip does rattle a little due to the damage to my ligament...

I was supposed to go to my MIL's for tea, but decided that attempting to drive the 40 miles round trip wasn't wise...

So sending Les to the chip shop instead.....

Sounds like a trapped nerve with the shooting pains, I would get it looked at today as it sounds really uncomfortable.
