Feeling cold

Hi there and welcome to the forum @SoniaM ! Feeling cold all the time can definitely be frustrating, and you're not alone in wondering if it's linked to diabetes. While it’s not one of the classic symptoms, some people with Type 2 do report feeling unusually cold and there can be a few connections.
Sometimes, if blood sugar levels are regularly running low (or fluctuating a lot), that can affect how your body regulates temperature. Poor circulation - which can develop over time in some people with diabetes - might also make your hands, feet, or even your whole body feel cold. On top of that, thyroid issues, which are a bit more common in people with diabetes, can also cause that always-cold feeling.
That said, it’s important to mention it to your GP or diabetes nurse so they can rule out anything else (like anaemia or thyroid changes) and check that your blood sugar levels are in a good range.
You're doing really well managing your diabetes, and asking questions like this shows you’re paying attention to your body, which is such an important part of staying well!
