"Fundraising is my way of giving back, and it makes me feel closer to my grandmother too."
Adele Robertson began her own events company, G2E Events, in 2010 to fundraise for Diabetes UK.
In memory of her grandmother, who faced a long battle with Type 2 diabetes, 21-year-old Adele organises fashion events to raise much-needed funds for the charity.
"My grandmother and I were extremely close, and still ten years on I think about her every day," said Adele.
"She was a huge part of my life and she doted on her family.
"She passed in her early sixties and it hurts to know that she won?t be at any future special occasions."
