Two deserving charities will benefit after a fun-filled Valentine’s Ball held at Spalding’s South Holland Centre on Friday evening.
Some 85 revellers danced the night away to local band Zebra and Sarah O’Brien, and it looks like the evening will have raised at least £1,500.
Helen Webster, who organised the evening with fellow Weight Watchers leader Jackie Briggs along with Ali Fox and Shirley Storey, said: “It was an absolutely fantastic evening.
“It was one of the best nights. Everyone really enjoyed themselves, there was lots of excitement and fun and our charities will do really well out of it – which was the main reason for organising the ball.”
The British Heart Foundation and Diabetes Uk are the two charities receiving money from the ball and they are both close to Helen and Jackie’s hearts.
