"IT'S just my job ? I do it every day but it's so nice to have some positive feedback."

These were the words of NHS call handler Barbara-Anne Tulloch, who was tracked down by the eternally grateful mother of a three-year-old boy who credits her with saving his life.

As we reported last month, doctors told Rachel Tuite that her son Alex could have died from his cough had it not been recognised by Barbara-Anne.

Really good to hear appreciation of when NHS phone advice lines work well.🙂 Usually only failures make the news.
