THE family of a 12-year-old girl from Hertford who has type 1 diabetes will have a music fundraiser to improve awareness of the condition.
Bryony Gill, of Foxholes Avenue, was diagnosed with the condition, in which the pancreas fails to produce insulin, the hormone that regulates blood glucose levels, two years ago.
Since then she has had to inject herself with insulin to manage to stay healthy.
Mum Bridget said: “We are very proud of how she has coped with it.
“She’s a very determined little thing.”
