DIABETES UK Scotland have launched a big fundraising push to mark Diabetes Week, which runs until Saturday.
The charity connects sufferers and funds research to try to find a cure.
Recently, they successfully campaigned to have the Scottish Government issue eligible diabetics, with Type 1 diabetes, with life-changing insulin pumps.
Programmed to administer the correct amount of insulin, they mean freedom from having multiple jabs every day, giving Scotland?s youngest diabetics a normal childhood.
