the glaucoma specialist nabbed my notes so that she could see me herself today. What a result.....everything is V.GOOD. Eye surgery has done everything that it needs to do and field vision test has shown that the only problem with my sight is the problem that we know about from two years ago - the glaucoma has caused absolutely no sight damage and the pressure levels have improved. With the reading chart test there was improvement in my sight compared to my last check which was two months ago. The glaucoma is all controlled in fact with my new CGM machine all of my conditions are more controlled than they have ever ever been in my life!!!!!!. To quote the consultant, when she looked in my eyes for the final checks "fab, fab, fab" (I told her I would quote her) I'm cooking on gas........looking forward to lots and lots of champagne tonight and being back to myself again!!!!

My (somewhat elderly) husband is also using Ganfort (in his case for glaucoma) and his eye-pressure levels have come down from 23 and 22 three months ago to 11 and 12 so he's a happy bunny too - and his consultant last week literally bounced in his seat when he saw the levels were so improved. Great isn't it when something works ? 🙂

Those pressures are brilliant - I'm thrilled that mine are down to 18!! Pressures of 11 and 12 are amazing, I'm really pleased for your husband
