Ok everyone, do any of you know anything about Eyva, Glucowise, Apple Watch, or Afon non invasive glucose monitoring? Eyva appears to be able to be bought in India now, and the others appear to be set for release within the next 5 years. Do you think the end of finger pricking is near? Could these devices be game changers?

Because, as yet, none of these people actually say how they are going to measure blood glucose without any contact with blood or interstitial fluid.

For example, look at the Eyva website. Nowhere on that site is any specification for the device they are selling. Despite saying over many pages how wonderful it is, with glossy pictures, and "consumer" endorsements they are very careful not to make any numerical claims about its accuracy. It is sold as a gadget, not a medical device.

Plus, if I read the website correctly, you have to hold the device for 60 seconds so that it can collect all the stats. That would definitely try my patience.
