Had my retinopathy test friday got results today all clear, which is good cause last one showed signs of retinopathy so im so relieved.

Good news, this happened to my hubby. One year he had background retinopathy the next it had gone as his BG was lower. Mind you this has increased so they have put him onto sitigliptin so we'll see next time he has his eyes checked.
 
Thank you had a worry like you would that things would be the same or worse but seeing my last 5 month bs levels in diary they have been better then sane time last year
 
Yay! Great news.

I had my appointment yesterday. Not sure when I'll get the results, but at least I've been able to spook passers by with 'Shrek cat' eyes for another year 🙂

Great news for you Steff. That happened to me last year 🙂. Had my retinal screening last week but they didn't let my eyes dilate for long enough before calling me back in for the photos so part of my eye was showing up as black on the screen. They said hopefully at the hospital the image will show clearer!

Glad it went well and that you had a good result. I got my results today and so far so good. It is so nice to have this forum to turn to for guidance. Thank you all 🙂
