Great news Northerner!
I went for my first test today so I hope I get good results. Quite pleased I've had it done though as I've been getting pains behind the eyes.

I hope the results are good tomtat, when do you find out? As far as I know, pain isn't a symptom of retinopathy, so it would be worth discussing the pain with your doctor.

Should get results back in 4 weeks so fingers crossed x

[QUOTEso that would give me nothing to improve on to avoid complications. .[/QUOTE]
It is frustrating when things are beyond your control There was nothing that I could do about the retinal vein occlusion. For the glaucoma there is nothing that I can do but have the eye drops which I do without fail - and now it looks like even that isn't good enough for my eyes. Sorry didn't mean to hijack your thread.

If you are getting pain behind your eyes please make an urgent appointment with your optician to make sure that there isn't a problem such as, for example, glaucoma.

It is frustrating Amanda and I do agree with you. Life is so very unfair at times and some people can go through life relatively unscathed and others, just keep getting hit, time, after time, after time. As we all know, our eyes are so precious. Take care and try and have a good weekend Lots of love Sheenax

I hope that you have a good weekend as well Sheena. lots of love Amanda x

Really pleased for you Alan, especially as you nearly didn't go - we've all felt like that at times so well done for getting it over with and getting such good news too. x

Brilliant news Northener. Hope you've now cheered up a little.
