So We don't often get sausages, and when we do they are usually low in fact, or speciality sausages more meat than anything. So I got some Lincolnshire sausages this week wasnt sure what to do with them breakfasts or dinner then noticed they were going out of date today so used them for dinner. In onion gravy and decided to do a swede/potato mash, the mash turned out really nice daughter happy to have it again.
my BM was 3.9 an hour before I cooked dinner lowest it has been since diagnoses 2 1/2 weeks ago. It was 7.7 mm fasting that morning so I had oats blueberries and 5% greek yogurt. Lunch I grilled bacon tomato mushroom and dry fried an egg....When I saw after my afternoon nap my bm only 3.9 I decided to have a handful of salted low fat pop corn I bought since it is recommended as a useful snack. When I was younger and nursing I found my blood sugars used to get very low even after a good breakfast. It causes faints when scrubbed up an hour after eating, bm of 2mm which is strange. More often if students practiced BMs on me they were 3mm and I would feel ok...totally unawares they were low. I always struggled to keep my weight down though I succeeded in being a size 8-12 around then, so when I was told to take my break and get s biscuit or toast I would respond no I am trying to lose it not gain it! Makes me think I am like a cousin in Australia who suffered hypoglycaemia all her life, and perhaps we both just over produced insulin. Breakfast was usually a whole grain cereal such a weetabix too not like it was a refine carb...oh my strange body....
