Not sure if this belongs here, merely an observation. My non diabetic partner has taken to eating carby food and testing to see results. Why? Who knows. The latest test was a no no even by my low bar. He bought some chocolate bars with 30% reduced sugar and proceeded to eat 3 bars, yes 3... then ate supper (mackeral and veg) rounded off with watermelon. He went out for a quick jog and at the designated time tested and it returned 8. 7 I thought that was a fine result considering all the carbs in his feast But as he isn't diabetic it is the result I would have expected. I wasn't tempted to give it a go. 3 bars of chocolate in one go...ahhh a bit too many for me, but interesting
