Exercise shown to improve symptoms of patients with chronic kidney disease

I think there have been articles in the news, not recently, but some time ago saying about afternoon/after lunch exercise is as good as, or better than a siesta (my preference is the siesta). But I think the exercise thing would be universal, not just for people with CKD. The articles were comparing cultures; in Japan workers have dinner and then a half hour of led callisthenics. They were more alert mentally for the afternoon work, and reported sleeping well at night. In Mexico, the dinner and siesta was 2 hours. But those workers reported feeling more relaxed at the work in the afternoon.

I can't do with sleeping during the day, I can't get to sleep at night if I do :( I suppose climate plays a part too in many cultures.
