Hey Guys, really minor issue relative to a lot people on here who need a Pump and can't get one. But I thought I would ask advice on here. I am working in Scotland temporarily (2 months) and live in West Edinburgh at the moment, my DSN is down in England and I have some old smaller 1.8 ml resevoirs and Sure T sets I got from a friend that I want to exchange for 3 ml resevoirs and a box of quick sets. Do you think I am any chance to go to a Hospital with a Diabetes Clinic here in Scotland and do an exchange of these items? Any other recommendations for how to do a trade with somewhere. My funding is still a bit up in the air and not reliable down in England either. Probably not a critical shortage but would give me some piece of mind if could do a swap.

Anyone in Edinburgh have some 3ml Resevoirs and want to do a swap for some 1.8 ml ones ? or have some Quicksets and want to do a swap for a box of sure Ts

Thanks heaps guys.
I think Pumping is way better than the alternative...........when it is working.

Hi Tommy, just ring your pump company and ask if they will take them back and exchange for what you want.

Hi Tommy

Welcome to the forum!

I'd imagine it would be the same as strips etc at a pharmacy... They can't/won't take them back (for reuse) as soon as you have left the shop as the 'chain of custody' is broken. They would have to be destroyed, I suspect. Sue's suggestion of getting the pump co to swap them is a good one.

Hi Tommy, try contacting the company. Are al the items you want to exchnage still sealed or in the packaging they came with? Companies want happy customers but won always exchange if packaging is damge unless an item is faulty.

Thanks so much Guys I will try to get onto Meditronic !

Love this forum

Yeah the packaging looks ok
