Hi all

Are grams per 100ml different to grams per 100g? If so anyone know a calculation or guide per 100ml I can use?

Thanks in advance!

Ps I ran my first 10k in 5 years last Sunday and took 9mins off my PB! Got another one Sunday in Kings Lynn

100ml of water weighs 100g at sea level. Other liquids will vary a bit, but not much.

It depends on the liquid. My son has the occasional little pot of Green&Blacks chocolate ice cream, and that lists the carbs per 100g and per 100ml, and they do differ. The pot of ice cream is labelled in ml. What is it you are wanting to carb count?

I don't understand the problem. If you're going to consume 100ml (17g carbs), why would you need to calculate the carbs per 100g?

Yes, I agree - if there is 17g carbs in the gel, that's all you need to know - no fancy calcs needed! Well done on your 10k PB! 🙂
