But it's not just "lock downs". Hardly any flu in Oz since March after the year started out looking like it was gearing up for a heavy flu season, then quickly dropped to nothing, despite the fact that most of the country hasn't really had a "lock down", just some restrictions on gatherings. Increased focus on hygiene and a bit of social distancing seem to have been the big factors.
