Has anyone used one of these M/C's to reduce swelling of ankles etc and if so how effective are they?
Or as I suspect a very expensive fad? in the ads I've read they state that research has been carried out by well known medical establishments or Uni's but none of the results of that research are divulged. So are they good or a waste of money?

Certainly not fad, used one recently to help ease sciatica & it worked, got it from Amazon for around £20.

thank you for the response. The ones I have seen advertised where in the hundred and fifty mark. I will investigate further

I think before making a purchase it would be wise to chat this through with your GP, to make sure any such device is going to be safe for you to use. Some of these electrical devices may not be suitable for people who may have changes to their nerve sensations and circulation in lower limbs.
