Hi Folks,

Wasn't sure if this is right group - sorry admins if not.

My daughter took part in the ELSA Study, (https://www.elsadiabetes.nhs.uk/) we sent the blood samples off in August, they confirmed tested received at the start of September. With an undefined result date, no time frames at all.

They state any child deemed high risk will get their results via phone as a priority, but again, there are no time frames mentioned.

Anyone else taken part? How long did it take for results?

I don't think she is high risk, so not really worried, we are more interested and also wanted to help with the study.

Thanks,

Phoebe

I think ours did take a couple of months, I'd forgotten about it then got a letter stating low risk.

Well The Uni of B'ham medical school (aka the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Edgbaston) seem to be responsible for the research so some of the info must surely have an email address?
