Does anyone find that eggs bring their sugar level up?

No not unless im having fried, which i dont, tryed that once never again, how do you have your eggs? say for example you had an egg sarny with white bread that may cause a high, but i really enjoy eggs and have one 4 times a week x

Not me personally but it has been known............

I used to have a couple of large duck eggs on toast for tea. But my BG was consistently staying high for hours into the night.

Between reading articles and seeing a dietician, it transpired that the protein lowers the GI of the meal to such an extent that the 'spike' comes a few hours after eating and is maintained for several hours.

I now have soup. 🙄

I often have duck eggs, either 1 poached on toast or half a 4 egg omelette with mixed veggies - fine for my blood sugar as long as I time my insulin dose accurately.

Occasionally we have hens' eggs, as both my partner and I have bosses with chickens, who sometiems give us half a dozen.
