Made these last night. The plan is not to use them as tortillas, but cut them up & make nachos to have with chilli
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of soya flour
1/2 cup of ground linseed
1/3 cup oat flour
1/2 cup vital wheat gluten
1 tsp paprika
pinch of salt
water
Method:
1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl.
2. Gradually add water until a dough forms.
3. Split into two & roll out each dough between 2 sheets of lightly oiled baking paper until very thin.
4. Heat a large oiled frying pan & fry each tortilla for about 4-5 mins per side on high.
To make nachos, cut the Tortillas into triangles & bake in the oven until crispy. Add cheese if you like.
As I haven't made the nachos yet, I don't know the temp or baking time yet, but I would assume the oven should be quite high.
