THE children’s diabetes service in East Lancashire has been rated as one of the best in the North West.
East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust’s children’s diabetes service was one of just 13 in England to score 100 per cent in an inspection carried out by the National Diabetes Peer Review Programme’s inspection.
The children’s multidisciplinary team was also highly commended, receiving the highest score in the North West.
