A pair of big-hearted volunteers put in a marathon 24-hour shift on the radio ... all to raise awareness of diabetes.
Kara Berry and Paul Wycherley took over the airwaves at Barrhead?s community radio station Pulse 98.4 to spread the message and raise money for Diabetes UK Scotland.
In a first for the radio station, presenters and friends Paul, who is 33, and from Paisley, and 27-year-old Kara, who lives in Inchinnan, teamed up to transmit the day-long broadcast.
The talented duo extended their regular People?s Show, and included a diabetes phone-in, as well as sessions from bands such as Majestic Dandelion, Jump the Chasm and Perry Mingo. Comedians were also on hand to keep listeners laughing.
