Hi

Does anyone know what carb content of a plain dumpling is, not in the carbs and cals book on it's own and couldn't find anything definite on a search, many thanks in anticipation 🙂

How many lbs of flour in the dumpling? LOL

From memory wasn't it summat like 4oz SR flour to 2oz suet? which made about 6 - or 8 small ones - yup just checked. Sooooooo somewhere between 9g and 13g. Ish.

Incidentally I'd have made 6 from that and when cooked they would have been spherical-ish and 2ins diameter.

A book I have says 25 carbs per 100gms of shop bought
Home made though are roughly 77 carbs/100gms flour and suet is 0 so depends how you split them 🙂

Thanks v much 🙂
