Type 2
For over 2 years I have been suffering with phlegm and a very dry throat. It seems to be getting worse and my doctor said I need to have some speech therapy to sort it out. He said that no way could my medication be the cause of it. I am Type 2 and take Metformin, Ramipril and Simvastatin. I'm at my wits end because it keeps me awake at night and just dont know what to do next. I have been taking sugar free cough sweets and Potters Catarrh mixture but nothing seem to work.
Has anyone here had the same problem and could give me some advice. Its like hitting my head against a brick wall going to my doctor!
