Dry skin

Over the pasr few days I have had really bad dry skin on my hand. But only the middle finger of my left had. It's crakcked sore and very painful!

Up until today it was just this fingr but now it's moved slightly over to my index finger and strangely enough, my nose!!

Any ideas if this is Diabetes related? I am going to try and go to the doctor tomorrow to get it sorted!

My hands get like that sometimes, mainly when it is very hot or when I rush and don't dry them properly after washing. As it has affected your nose too, I would suggest it is more likely because it has been warm. I find a little antisceptic cream helps until it heals and then generally moisturise. Or someone like your pharmacist may be able to help with a good cream.

Several people have said that diabetes seems to dry the skin out, but I am not sure if it really is related or not.
