Hi no it’s because I have type1 I was told@JoeJohno1 do you mean an extended test after a driving ban?
Hi no it’s because I have type1 I was told
It is not clear from what you have said whether it is your first licence as you are learning to drive or renewal of a medically restricted licence or if you are applying for HGV or PSV licence as there may be more stringent testing for that.Hi no it’s because I have type1 I was told
It is an assessment its not a testIt is not clear from what you have said whether it is your first licence as you are learning to drive or renewal of a medically restricted licence or if you are applying for HGV or PSV licence as there may be more stringent testing for that.
There are rules about informing the DVLA about being on insulin or some other medications but I see nothing about the driving test itself being different or needing to have another test if you already have a licence.
Did you give any answers on the form you fill in that would make them request this test? Who told you that it’s a very hard test?Hi no it’s because I have type1 I was told
Who told you this?Hi no it’s because I have type1 I was told
I agree its important to know the source of this (incorrect) information.Who told you this?
There isn’t a requirement for any additional test to drive with diabetes @JoeJohno1 - but your license will be renewed much more frequently (currently every 3 years), and your fitness to drive will be assessed by your Dr every 3 years. You fill in a form sent by the DVLA, and your case gets looked at. As long as you are still hypo aware, and there are no concerns from your Dr, your license is renewed.Hello I have been told I have to do a very hard driving test and I am so frightened can some one please tell me if it’s much different than a standard driving test please ?
