Driving test-H has his driving test in few weeks!- always tests before a lesson etc... so does he get in the car with the examiner and test? or say he has tested in the lesson before? sorry if this is a dim question

In theory you can not get behind the wheel of a car before testing. So simple solution is to test whilst in the waiting room before the off to read number plate and getting behind the wheel.

Very good luck to H even though I'm sure he doesn't need it 🙂

To show confidence and competence, H should state to examiner "I tested my blood sugar at (time) and it was (value)" H should know the lowest level before driving. So should the examiner.

Hope test goes well. It's a tough test, even without minor additional considerations with diabetes and insulin.

Ok- having a slight panic attack!- H's driving test is tomorrow- so he tests in the waiting room fine so is it best to say to the examiner that hes tested and the result or not?- will the examiner know/be more critical - cant remember- -do they know from his provisional licence that he is diabetic-what have others done?

I wouldn't tell anyone - it's up to H whether he drives within the Law or not - what's it got to do with his Examiner or anyone else?

So test while he is waiting for Mr Bloggs to come out with his clip board and collect him.

This is where H becomes one of those ADULT thingies, totally responsible for his own actions!

Obviously if he is below 5, he MUST tell Mr Bloggs that he can't drive right now because, so will have to re-book and his Instructor will have to drive him home. Because it is what a reponsible adult should do.

What does adrenalin usually do to him? I think I ran a tad higher on purpose that day, just in case.

He doesn't tell the examiner anything 🙂
All H needs to do is say good morning or afternoon as the case may be and shake his or her hand.
No1 rule is only offer info if required.
I was never asked what my blood sugar was before my driving test many moons ago.

My very best wishes to H.

Thanks TW and PumperSue- think thats the way to go- fingers crossed for him for tomorrow

I see I haven't wished him luck!

Well he shouldn't need it if he's ready to take his test should he? LOL

Hope he passes, you thought you are stressing now, well sorry - you'll stress even more after! LOL

Where's he taking it, test centre still at Olton Boulevard? (can't remember which side you live)

Fantastic news H a very big well done. :D

Well done H. Now the period of becoming a driver begins...

Great news! Now he'll have to start saving up for a car (and the astronomical insurance premiums!) 🙂

Oh brill H !

Now you'll be able to learn to drive! as my instructor said to me after I passed mine.
