My driving license is to be renewed soon & I'm not sure what to say regarding hypos.
I've had 3 mild ones, meaning i dip to 3 for a very short period of time then rise to normal levels. Only one had recorded as low level on libre sensor. So not sure if I'm technically having a hypo or not.
Either way, i don't drive unless my sugars are above 8 & never within 2 hrs of taking insulin. I know i can drive but I've always been too nervous too.
Anyway, just wondering if it could stop me driving. I'm probably overreacting but nervous as not driving will severely affect my mental health & social life as i suffer with chronic lung disease & osteoporosis/arthritis.
Many thanks.

As long as you are hypo aware and do not need assistance with hypos then you are fine. You just answer the questions about having hypos and that you are aware of them.
If you state you have no hypos, then you can bet your bottom dollar that you will lose your licence as dvla will automatically think you have no hypo awareness.

Hope your renewal gets processed speedily @Sugarcoated

Some people are still seeing delays because of the pandemic :(
