Driving Licence Conditions

Dear Moderator, Alan, Can we have a sticky telling people the requirements on them for informing the DVLA and their insurance company, it seems that a lot of people do not understand the requirements and are putting themselves at risk.

There are many threads on here that contain the info. Take a look at the link above it lists all the conditions you need to inform DVLA about.

I know many people with conditions on that list that have no knowledge what so ever about what they should do.

Yet diabetics are quite well informed at diagnosis.

Just had a quick look at the list myself and started to wonder, if our most famous bi-polar sufferer Stephen Fry has filled in questionaire M1?

I know what the requirements are, thanks. But it would appear that other members do not (especially the newly diagnosed). A number asked on this forum whether they should tell their insurance company, the DVLA etc, and someone actually stated that every diabetic should inform DVLA.

It's seems fairly clear that not everyone is savvy with using Message Boards either so not everyone uses the search to find their answers!
